Turkey as a holiday destination

We have been visiting Ovacik on the Turquoise Coast of Turkey since purchasing our Place in The Sun - Oscar C4 apartment in May 2008.

This really has to be the most beautiful and friendliest places in the world.

The landscape is very reminiscent of Snowdonia in Wales but with the weather advantage of temperatures exceeding 20 degrees Celsius for a minimum of 6 months of the year. The climate in the winter months remains mild and make Turkey an all year round destination for holidaymakers wishing to escape the dark dismal winters of th U.K.

Currently outside the Euro Zone it remains very attractive due to exchange rates
